Heating a partytent is as simple as using tent heaters—specialized space heaters designed for safely keeping your party tent warm—and tent sidewalls, which keep the warmth in. A party tent heater can be used inside the tent, or just outside the tent with the addition of a diffuser.
For many parties, simply having some strategically placed fans will be enough to keep things cool. If you have a pole tent, you can hang fans on the poles to distribute cooled air around the partytent. If you need something more, you can get large, stand up fans at position them at the corners of the tent.
- Use Anchor. Although anchors work to secure canopies mostly and other shelters, we can use them to secure a tension tent as well.
- Include Anti-Sink Pole Plates.

We don’t recommend setting them up in freezing conditions. Even the heavy-duty commercial grade vinyl we use at Tent and Table will be damaged by extreme cold. As a broad, general rule, we recommend never setting up your party tent when it’s going to be under 40 degrees Fahrenheit, or about 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.
