Cleaning Methods with Apple Cider Vinegar Fill the kettle with a solution of 3 cups of apple cider vinegar and 3 cups of cold water. Let it sit overnight. Empty the kettle and discard or store the vinegar solution (you can reuse it for cleaning). Remove any stains that remain inside by rubbing it with a damp cloth.
