POLYCARBONATE CHAFING LID

These sturdy transparent polycarbonate chafing lid are break resistant – won’t rust, dent or bend. Quieter than metal.

These lids are virtually unbreakable and remain cool to the touch. Because the lids are transparent, the contents are immediately visible. They are stackable and dishwasher safe. Furthermore, the containers are suitable for ovens, refrigerators, bain-maries and chafing dishes & easy to clean due to the smooth finish. These containers are stackable and therefore take up little space; additionally they are completely odor and taste free.

The use of polycarbonate in GN containers and lids offers many advantages. For example, this material is almost indestructable and, thanks to its transparency, you can see through it on all sides so you know what the contents of the container are. In addition, it is an odourless and taste-free material that doesn’t absorb these qualities from the food. The biggest advantage, however, lies in the ease of cleaning. A polycarbonate chafing lid is dishwasher safe, dries quickly and can withstand temperatures from -40 up to 100°C.
